VeggieWorld and Heldenmarkt in Düsseldorf
VeggieWorld, the largest & oldest vegan event of its kind in Europe is returning to Düsseldorf. And this year they’ve partnered with Heldenmarkt, Germany’s leading sustainable consumption fair. Together there will be over 200 exhibitors presenting their products and services.
Last year over 10,000 people attended VeggieWorld Düsseldorf. This time around there are plenty of great new reasons to visit – tasty vegan dishes, drinks, cooking shows, sustainable products and much more. You’ll find a wide selection of 100% vegan products from brands both large and small, including regional producers. Product categories include nutrition, clothing, accessories, cosmetics and more. Most items are available for sale, and in many cases at discounted or wholesale prices.
Of course, you’ll also have the opportunity to savor culinary delicacies, try some free samples, and enjoy a colorful mix of superfoods, sweets, food supplements, smoothies and more.
In addition, don’t miss the complimentary cooking shows and lectures, featuring stars like Sina Spiegelberg and former German National Football player Timo Hildebrand. Two of the shows we’re excited about are “Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund – Das Frühstuck bestimmt die Tagesform” (Breakfast Determines Your Day) on 28 October at 16:00 and “Vegane Süßigkeiten Klassiker zum Selbermachen” (Vegan Sweets – Do It Yourself Classics) on 30 October at 13:00.
Heldenmarkt has been offering a platform for sustainability for over five years. Eco-friendly production, fair-trade or resource conservation are a prerequisite exhibitors to participate. As a visitor, you’ll have the chance to learn about living a more sustainable lifestyle, including simple changes such as buying regional and seasonal produce. After all, even little changes can have a big impact.
