Ready to soak up some sunshine, but not sure where to go? Here are 6 great places to enjoy the sun in Düsseldorf:
1. Rheinpark Golzheim
Pack a picnic for a relaxing day on the open, green lawn of Rhine Park Golzheim. Shaded tables and a drink kiosk are nearby. Feeling active? This is also a popular spot for walking, jogging and cycling. Whatever you decide to do, be sure to catch the sunset over the Rhine before you head home.
2. Medienhafen
While we’re on the subject of sunsets, another great spot to hang out are the steps at the foot of the Rheinturm overlooking the marina and harbor. After relaxing here for a while, take a stroll along the riverside or have dinner at one of the restaurants around the media harbor.

3. Nordpark
This large, peaceful park has an amazing water fountain, a large green lawn, an authentic Japanese garden and much more. This is one of our favorite spots to relax and recharge.
4. Unterbacher See (Lake Unterbacher)
Lake Unterbacher is one of the best places to make a splash. There are two beaches, boat rentals, barbecue areas overlooking the lake, fishing, a sailing school and more. When you’re hungry, check out Café Ponton for the lake view, or grab refreshing drink at the beer garden.
