Top Fall/Autumn Festivals in Düsseldorf 2018

The lineup of festivals in Düsseldorf this Fall/Autumn is amazing.

This year you’ll have a chance to experience everything from a kung fu inspired theater production featuring Shaolin monks, to Düsseldorf’s first sushi festival.

 

So whether you’re a fan of live music, craft beer, wine, theatre, dance, gaming, fine food or films (or all of the above!) – there’s a festival for you this Fall.

We’ve even added a few events before the official start of the season, because you shouldn’t have to wait to have fun, right? 😉

GOLZHEIM FESTIVAL

A great festival that’s always free and outdoors. The lineup this year includes 6 bands and a big flea market from 11am-6pm on Sunday.

STREET FOOD FESTIVAL

Food trucks, professional chefs and amateur cooks will be will be serving up delicious food from around the world as Street Food Festival returns to Düsseldorf this fall.

When: 8 & 9 September 2018

DÜSSELDORF FESTIVAL

The “düsseldorf festival!” is a unique series of events that spans several weeks. It features everything from innovative music and dance to theatre. Don’t miss it. (tap photos for more info)

CHINAFEST DÜSSELDORF

Experience a colorful program including authentic Chinese music, art, cuisine and much more. Admission is free.

HÖHE STRAßE – DAS FEST

An open-air street festival in the beautiful historic district of Düsseldorf-Carlstadt. Organized under the motto “Art, culture & lifestyle”.

Get a taste of Oktoberfest in Düsseldorf. Put on your Dirndl or Lederhosen (you know you want to!) and celebrate the occasion Bavarian style with big beers, good music, and a perfect view of the Rhine. Prost!

SUSHI FESTIVAL DÜSSELDORF

Düsseldorf’s first Sushi Festival is just around the corner! Try traditional sushi, or a unique combination such as sushi donuts, burgers, and lollipops. Unique shows, karaoke, workshops and live music are planned.

AWAKENINGS & TIME WARP PRESENT CONNECT

A highly anticipated electronic music festival featuring an impressive lineup of 22 well known international DJs, including Solomun, Richie Hawtin and Maceo Plex.

IRISH FOLK FESTIVAL (SPONSORED)

WINE & TASTE FESTIVAL

Do you love good wine? You’re in luck! The Wine & Taste Festival gives you the chance to sip & savor more than 200 wines in an upbeat atmosphere with a DJ and food trucks.

NEW HERITAGE – FESTIVAL FÜR ZEITLOSES

New Heritage – Festival für Zeitloses (Festival for Timelessness) stands for quality, craftsmanship and timeless design. Discover unique products from about 100 exhibitors at the market, take part in a workshop, have a drink and visit the food trucks.

ROCK GEGEN HUNGER

Rock gegen Hunger (‘Rock Against Hunger’) is a battle of the bands for a good cause. Proceeds support the work of Welthungerhilfe and their efforts to end world hunger. Donations can be made at the door. Have fun & help people in need – it’s a win-win. 🙂

FILMFEST DÜSSELDORF

A unique short film festival featuring the work of young, creative and up-and-coming filmmakers from around the world.
